20 June 2015 – Music & Arts Festival – 12 hours of live music
He was doing a University Social Work course, and became good friends with a fellow student, who was a very accomplished musician and who had ‘music in his soul’. He inspired Laurence to learn the first basic chords, which led to learning more and more and he became very involved with the traditional Folk Music Revival.
Since moving to France some years ago, he has concentrated on learning more of the basics of the Folk guitar, and learning new songs. This has been made positive by the influence of new musician friends, and involvement in an enthusiastic local music scene.
