Judy Coldwell creates all kinds of craft items. She has a stall booked for the festival and told us about her work and how she came to crafting in the first place…
“I was fourteen and bored … my boyfriend had gone on holiday … so in desperation my mother sent me to buy a pattern and some material. I made my first dress completely by hand, didn’t realise I was following the ideals of the great couturiers. That was more years ago than I care to admit to and I haven’t stopped making things since.
I adore the feel and colours of so many materials. I’ve dressed weddings, made waistcoats, scarves and soft furnishings, created ranges of jewellery. I’m now working on a new range of accessories, themed for summer and using lots of different materials, these will have their debut at the music festival.”
