20 June 2015 – Music & Arts Festival – 12 hours of live music
Dick started playing guitar in folk clubs in and around Guildford in the late 60s, early 70s.
Due to other commitments, he didn’t play for 30 odd years, what with work, children and racing.
But the move to France inspired him to start playing again and he played in a band, the ZDJJs for a few years. They parted company about two year’s ago.
Dick’s musical interests are folk songs and ballads, with inspiration coming from the likes of James Taylor and Mark Knopfler. He enjoys the local music scene in the Charente area of France, where he lives, and plays regularly at a local Acoustic Club…and has also played at local bars and even on the back of a trailer at St Junien Golf Club in 2014!
